Official Princeton ED Decisions - Class of 2010

aww poor greco...it's okay to be mad, i'd be offing people right now if i lived in nj and didn't have the letter. i'm about to make headlines as it is: GIRL DIES FROM ANTICIPATION

Maybe the mail truck crashed and burst into flames, incinerating all the letters. Haha.

I still dreamin' in California...

omg...that reminds me of my AP scores. The AP workers went on strike and the truck with my scores was left on the side of the road until sometime in early September, when the scores of my whole high school class were finally located. sorry i know this board is supposed to be just results, but that story was too good to let go. lol

[/ul]Other Factors:
General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations,etc: Congrats to all who were accepted ED, and don't give up if you were deferred. I used the actual Prineton app, not common app, as my g.c. told me they view it more favorably than the common app.

there goes my chance! i HIGHLY doubt i will get in princeton, maybe i will get deferred.

For the last damn time. It's DEFER not DEFFER. You get DEFERRED not DEFFERRED. Just to clear that one up

Congrats to all who got accepted. My thoughts to those who didn't. I scared to death now. If I don't die from anticipation I don't know what is wrong... I hope PA isn't as competative as NJ.

haha i love it when the best and the brightest spell "defer" wrong...; ) congrats to everyone!!!!

Greco: Don't worry about it. I had to wait two days to get my letter, and another student on my block had already recieved his. I was in a state of panic. Sometimes, good things really do come to those who wait!

Congrats to all the acceptees! Maybe you guys should start a thread on the class of 2010 forum?

applying from NJ is the worst because there are SO many applicants...I'm from CT...probably pretty bad as well...

Yeh, the whole Boswash area is nothing but a mass of hopeful Princetonians. I hope that the competition isn't as bad in my neck of the woods. But, that does't help me too much anyway. I'm scared to death, ah!

guess what i'm from NJ, and guess what...nothing in the mail today....i don't get it......:(

Yea. After seeing the stats of all those who have been accepted I have fallen in love with my other top choice in Pomona College.....You guys have fun at Princeton...Tommorow, My deferal letter arrives.

Yeh, it is kinda odd. I'm certain you'll get it tomorrow. And next time you see your mailman you can have a little chat...

Congratulations to all you lucky acceptees, you lucky bastards you ;)
But seriously, to have received any decision right now is better than what I have done. I noticed pimom had an interesting clarification: she used the Princeton application, not the Common App. To make this thread more useful for the next crop of applicants, perhaps we should include that as one of the factors, changing the format to this:
