*OFFICIAL PSAT THREAD 2014 (US)*

@Shirtisred‌ do you remember what the question was specifically asking, or all the answer choices? I don’t remember much about it.

It was (8,4 racical 3) because it was the only one less than eight and more than 4radical 2

What score would you get if you missed 2-3 CR questions?

What were the questions for the invention passage?? I think I misinterpreted it :/

@icequeenforever It was something to the effect of asking what the author of the first passage would think of the second. The only responses that I remember are the “she hasn’t felt the frustrations of other inventors” and about her having inspiration.

@icequeenforever it’s around a 71

What was the answer to that one @Shirtisred‌

can someone repeat the question with “ambivalent” i don’t think i remember it…

@SentientBacon‌ Oh, okay, I’m not sure what I put though. I might have put 8 radical 3 on another question, did any of the questions have that answer?

^^^I think 2-3 wrong in CR will be above 71

@meaa7130 I put the inspirations one, but I’m not sure if that’s actually correct.

Guys, on the question about stone walls/construction, everyone says doing it vs doing so. Does anyone remember the details on this one??? I have no idea what this is about.

@CHD2013 you’re right, probably a 73 to75

What were the answer choices @shirtisred

@Shirtisred‌ Okay, got it. I remember the question, but I don’t remember my exact answer. I don’t think it’s one of the two you mentioned, though.

Can anyone recall the other answer choices?

Well judging from this thread it looks like there might be a decent curve in CR. if that is true maybe closer to ~74 if you get 2-3 wrong. I’m really just worried about the math.

@Danwgun‌ I don’t recall the exact sentence, but it ended with “from doing it”, which is the error. It should be “from doing so”.

how about 1 wrong 1 omitted on math? someone please predict

@icequeenforever I can’t, sorry. I think I eliminated the others immediately because I thought they were wrong. What did you get on the question with the sensei and the interviewer? It was her asking him about his age, and the answer choices I remember were shrewd, impertinent and probing. I put impertinent.

@NotAMathlete‌ LOL at your screen name, it’s the same for me too
