Hi guys do you know if the personal photo is mandatory?
I think I might have accidently skipped that :(

Not mandatory. But ****!

@SwimmingChicken The photo is definitely not mandatory.

Does anyone know if this happened last year?

Thanks gadgor and ernie92!
Hope that youre able to log on.
Its probably going to be congested for the entire day :/

The second that I’m logged in, I’m going to submit my app

Hey all. Question: does it show up on your “My Locker” page that your School Profile was faxed in? It was my understanding that we weren’t able to see this, since it was something our GC sent in. Mine def faxed it weeks ago. Because I can’t see it. I was wondering if it was normal.

I’m just asking to make sure.

I thought I was in the clear. A few seconds after clicking the button to submit and have it check that everything is filled in my computer tells me they “reset the connnection” and now I can’t even get on to the website. I was soooo close to being done. sooooo close. =/

same here, i’m really hoping that it isn’t like this for the rest of the night. then we will all be screwed.

@waggish, same thing here! My counselor sent the test scores, transcript, and school profile at the same time. Test scores and transcript showed up in like two hours but the school profile is not there yet.

**** it I’m gonna go play madden

Arg, my app was pretty much done except for my parent income, which I just went to put in, but no such luck. I’m kinda worried now. I didn’t realize there’d be THIS much traffic.

I guess mine was submitted because it says completed now that I was finally allowed back on to check. Good luck to all of you and hope you get the applications in on time! :)

Here I though I would start doing my 2 essays and that one page of questions… and then the site froze on me… could someone tell me the essays so i can at least know what to do?!

Whoa James you’re going to start now? Bit late bro.

Anyways there were a 3 choices for the 2nd essay. My choice was: Describe an experience that you have had or a concept you have learned about that intellectually excites you. When answering this question, you may want to consider some of the following questions: Why does this topic excite you? How does it impact the way you or others experience the world? What questions do you continue to ponder about it?

3rd essay was : Evaluate a significant experience, achievement, risk you have taken, or ethical dilemma you have faced and its impact on you. (500 word limit) *

Anyways good luck. Oh and it seems like the traffic is lessening.

@o0James0o this is the biographical one that we all must do. We are interested in learning more about you and the context in which you have grown up, formed your aspirations and accomplished your academic successes. Please describe the factors and challenges that have most shaped your personal life and aspirations. How have these factors caused you to grow? (800 word limit). The other two you get a choice between two. I only have the prompt for one of the other two essays and it’s only for the prompt I chose from that essay. Here it is: Evaluate a significant experience, achievement, risk you have taken, or ethical dilemma you have faced and its impact on you. 500 Word Limit

Darn it gadgor! You keep beating my posts by seconds. bahaha

I just got into the application webpage and once again it froze on me… i dont even know if my college counselor would do the recommendation… i shouldve asked for my personal counselor… since i did ask her to help me send the fax… Also, a teacher of mine is just doing his recommendation… (I did told them 2 weeks prior…)

I have finished one essay due to the questbridge thing during the summer… I was rejected… So I was planning to fix that one and do the other two… :/

Anyways, would I get an extension if my counselor didn’t do her recommendation on time?

ohhh, I also just found out today via the mail that I was rejected for posse 2nd round interview… what luck :(

Anyways, thanks, I shall get start with the biography one
