Should we fill one out just in case?

It wants a locker ID though. Can’t get that if we can’t get to the application.

Fail. .___________.

I think we should all have the extension form ready just in case, she was talking about e-mailing them if it doesn’t work out tonight, so I think if we do both we should be good.

So do you think it would be good to fill out the extension form and then if it doesn’t clear up by 11 pm Pacific time, send the extension form?

SHOOT. Sent it AND there was a grammar error in the reasoning. >_< Will this give an impression of terrible English and procrastination? Or do different people handle these and have no communication with one another?

Well, maybe they’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you were too panicked to think too coherently about grammar at the time the form was sent.

How did you talk to one of them? Their number just leads to voice mail…

I tried calling them multiple times but they would not pick up, I think that an extension form would do us all good just to have in case, right?

I called a couple times. At first I called the toll free number and got taken to a voice recording machine, then I called (650) 331-3280 and pushed “1,” not sure what I pushed after that, but it played some weird jingle and a lady answered. If you give it a few tries it should work.

Yeah, everyone should send a request form that contains a grammatical mistake. :D

Is there any bad side to sending an application extension form?
Why would you wait until 11pm to see if its still working to submit that form?
(I’m just curious)

I was just able to log in, but when I clicked my locker the fatal error message showed up again; hopefully that means they’re working on it.

is a little curious as to why I didn’t get a confirmation email when I submitted my app? I know I submitted cuz the status was like “completed and submitted” so I should be good. Still a bit curious as to why they didn’t send me one confirming the submission of my app

@johnz
I half hope they won’t get it back up in time. I feel like I could use an extra day. Or week.

@coldsignx
You probably should get a confirmation e-mail but if your status read completed you should definitely not fret. Check back later just in case and report it if something goes terribly wrong, but odds definitely are that you’re in the clear :).

exactly! me too. i can’t access my app right now, but that’s okay because i submitted it at 3 pm today. i’m sorry for all of you who can’t access your apps right now. but yeah i’m curious as to why i did not get a confirmation email too. i mean i even got a confirmation email when my transcript was received.

this is so agonizing. There I was: ecstatic at finalizing every single detail before I began uploading and then I see this:

Modupe, did you submit an app extension request?

What’s the point of sending in the extension form?

I have no idea. That’s why I’m asking lol
Someone told me to send one, I don’t know what it does
Does it give you more time to do your app?
