Just to be sure: we do not submit any application fees, correct?

I’m sure that not everyone’s school uses Docufide; accordingly, your submission should be fine.

Just to be sure, I would double check with my counselor and confirm with Stanford through a phone call.

Ugh! The CSS profile didn’t say I was eligible for fee waivers even though I reported our 2010 income as >20,000. -.- I can’t pay $16 per college…

And my parents aren’t required to pay income taxes, but it gives me an error message when I reported “0” for that. //frustration

Do you guys know if the deadline to submit the Common App is 12:59 PM tomorrow (Oct 31) or 12:59 PM on Monday (Nov 1)? Thanks!

the deadline is on monday, nov 1.
does anyone know if i can submit my common app even though my counselor didn’t finish sending the secondary report/transcripts yet?

@bennjerrysxp

you only have to do the brown supplement if you are doing PLME.

does the collegeboard EFC calculator work? I mean I tried it and my EFC is 0. Also, how much do parents’ savings count as a factor? My parents are not going to spend their savings on my college education, they need it for themselves.

I literally have the same concern… So could we submit our common app now and then have our counselors submit the School Report on Monday? would that be too late?

I had the same problem. I had to buy a visa card and pay it myself. =/

@SwimmingChicken
yeah, i dont know. but im going to try and submit it tonight, and ill remind my counselor to finish it on monday. hopefully it will work? =

=O how do we get the fee waiver for brown? im trying to submit my common app but i cant since i didnt pay yet…but when i press payment i cant find anywhere where i can click fee waiver

Yes, you can submit your common app before your counselor submits your secondary report. For the fee waiver, you would would submit your application, on the payment section (accessible left side) the system asks how your would like to pay. Select “Other” and in the text-box type/state that you are a “Questbridge finalist”. Pretty simple process isn’t it? Thank goodness.

Ask that your counselor submits his/her part soon!

For Stanford, the closest thing is “Other Fee Waiver Request”–but no box pops up to type QuestBridge in-- is that okay?

I just submitted my supplement! Still hovering over the main app though, occasionally making small cosmetic changes. Sigh.

I submitted my CA back at the end of August, way earlier than I should have. I regret not being able to go back and revise it for this Match process (esp. having QB waived the app fee now), but anyhow appreciate the few days that remain. I’m sure your app will turn out great! Your time and effort will pay off.

Does anyone know if being a finalist is an award? And what are the chances of the common app website crashing tomorrow?

can we apply to other scholarships as well? I know we are restricted for EA/ED, but we can apply to as many scholarship program as we want, right?

so can we submit the CSS profile on Nov. 1st?

can i submit the common app for stanford before my teacher finishes his recommendation form???

do you still have a chance for the college match if you are low income with a EFC close to 0 but not 0 (like $150-300?)
