Georgia…nothing yet
Got the email 9:29 EST
Florida, last name starts with A… nothing yet
just got it 9:58 est/6:58 pst
must be by region
raleigh, NC… no email yet…
Ok so it definitely isn’t by region, because some of my friends in Nashville said that they have still not gotten the email apparently.
I’m in NY got my email at 9:43 pm EST last name at end of alphabet
@PartyNextDoor can’t be by last name either since rengirl’s an ‘A’ yet still hasn’t received it…
What’s everyone’s stats?
my email must be weird. It took a while for my UNC Chapel Hill email to come in as well, but I doubt that a late email is indicative of anything considering I got into UNC. I doubt it’s done alphabetically as well since my last name starts with a “C”.
@1stimer haha i agree, they couldn’t have framed it another way? lol
I still think that it is by region, different AOs are in charge of different regions and they probably are in charge of the email lists for their regions and they are probably the ones sending the emails out. So it might not be like closest vs furthest from Nashville but it might still be related to region lol if this makes any sense
That makes alot of sense @VaishS
However your theory might be right too, Im not likely to get in and I have no email
God, I can’t wait for the college admissions process to be over.
@VaishS I’m definitely not likely to get in (it’s a reach for me), yet I got an email. I doubt the timeliness of the email is indicative of admission, like @agc1998 said
Villanova coming out same day too I think
score wise, my ACT is right in the lower quartile (32), but I have a great GPA and extracurriculars and have been woking two jobs since I was 16. My interview went really well too. While I’m hoping my lack of email doesn’t mean a rejection, it’s definitely possible, as I know some schools look at numbers more closely than they say they do…
I’m still skeptical that there’s even an email. Anyone else feeling the same way?
At this point, discussing stats is futile and even harmful. Everyone is already stressed, and seeing someone with higher GPA or test scores stressing out just adds on to it. The decisions have already been made, so now we just play the waiting game and keep out fingers crossed
