I was accepted with a $13,000/year merit scholarship

Accepted with $17,000 merit based aid.

17k as well. . .awesome!

$13,000 :)

Anyone going for 10-11 overnight?

Anyone going 20-21?

We'll be there this weekend for a Saturday overnight; then back there for most of the day on Monday.

I will be attending 10,11 for overnight visit! Whistle, what part of Pittsburgh are you from?

Can you tell the gpas required to keep your merit awards? Thank you.

My Ds merit scholarship ($13,000), said a 2.0.

ernchurl, this is what I thought, but I wanted to confirm it. I guess this allows your D to take a bit of a risk on the classes she'll choose if she is attending. Best of luck to her and congratulations!

It depends on the award and its stipulations. One my dd got requires a 3.0 to keep it all, 2.0 to keep 13k.

Whistlepig, thanks. It makes sense. At least they were kind enough so that she does not lose the whole award! I have seen that a lot of schools have a higher gpa required to keep top awards.

I'll be there on the 20-21 weekend. I was accepted a while ago with the $17k merit scholarship
