was writing section 4 the one with “had begun” and “begun” question? i don’t remember the michelangelo question so

Yeah I think the michelangelo and sistine chapel one was definitely experimental because I don’t remember ever doing it.

Does anyone remember reading about malls vs. shops on a writing section or was that experimental?

Malls vs shops was the actual writing

What do you think a -1 in math will get me? I got the digit adding one wrong. Made a dumb mistake and forgot to add the tens digit from 11-19 so i got 113. **** MY STUPID MISTAKES!!

@AimingForA1200

Some are predicting a -1 800 curve for the math section, so don’t get too discouraged.

@satquestions, I think the “begun” vs. “had begun” was in the experimental. can anyone who didnt have experimental writing confirm?

No, that section was the real one. The writing section with the gum was NOT experimental.

This sucks I think I might have screwed up a suuuper easy question. Did the cost with the greatest discrepancy between A and B also happen to be the greatest cost in A overall? I think I misread the airplane one and chose the greatest cost in A.

@Meerkat800
I’m pretty sure they were both the same, at least thats what i put

@AimingForA1200

Yess! Thanks. I hope youre right

Please, June 20th, COME NOW!

was the “rocking” question swaying or astonishing?

A few CR questions (if there is a CR thread I will move this post):

I had CR experimental with a passage on illusions in art. I remember having two sentence completions with quiescent and pragmatist as clues in the QUESTIONS. Did anyone have these sentence completions or were they experimental?

Does anyone remember the actual sentence for which an answer choice was moribund?
Is taciturn…tenacious definitely the answer to its corresponding question? (Btw I put moribund and taciturn…tenacious for both questions but I am just curious if they are correct).

Is the consenus for the Mrs. Dutta passage self assurance or optimism? I think both answers were fair and honestly have no idea which is correct. Is the consensus for the rocking the critics question astonishing or swaying? I personally think it is astonishing, which literally means surprising or impressing greatly, as I’m sure you all know. It never says that the critics changed their minds, or were swayed to change their views on the cloth art(?) right? Rather it says that even the toughest critics were rocked, or surprised/impressed by the art. Please correct me if I’m wrong here, as me no remember things too good ;-). I think I was wrong on the surmountable/inevitable space rover question as well. What is the consensus for this?

First time taking the SATs, never scored higher than 650 on practice CR (my stengths are math and writing) but feel that I was on my game the morning of the test and have a very good chance to score high 600s/low 700s on CR. Thanks for any and all help and good luck to everyone!

sat anxiety (whose name fits me as well)
im in the same boat as you in terms of cr; i need to get low/mid 700
im pretty sure its self assurance and surmountable (and i think these align w/the consensus)

also taciturn…tenacious and moribund were def correct

What was taciturn…tenacious the answer to? Anyone remember context?

it was that vocab question talking about the author who persistently clung to her ambitions but never revealed them

oh yeah that is correct…do you remember any math ones? I know i got -1 so far hoping for -2 max.

Does anyone know the other answer choices to the acumen/unwarranted question because i know i picked a diff choice, but i forget what it was. Also, why exactly was the answer to one of the cr questions surmountable instead of inevitable?

look on pages 39-40 for that
