750 USH I'm pretty happy considering I always got 600's on Kaplan's practice tests.

800 USH, yay! Now all that's left is Math IIC...

750 for chem. Kinda low for me.

800 IIC (finally!!)
800 World History!!

Holla!!!

:P
Very pleased.

Too bad my Chem, PHysics, annd US History will bring my happy SAT mood down. Aww sniff

I'm too embarrassed to say mine. Let's just say, they were horrible.

C'mon Birdman, they weren't THAT bad.

Lit: 680
USH: 700

Why can't SAT I scores count for so much more?

Oh, while I'm here, I might as well as my question. I definitely need to retake either Lit or USH. So I was thinking, if I retake USH in October, should I retake Lit this Saturday or wait till October as well? I think I'm taking bio (and maybe French...) in October as well, but Lit is basically not studiable (except for a couple terms here and there). But also this Saturday, I would miss a staff meeting for my summer job if I take two (probably wouldn't be out by 10)..so what should I do? Take Lit again this Saturday, or wait till next year?

kisstheskyxx,

what methods/resources/books did you use to achieve that 800 in World history? congrats.

Math IIC - 800
Chemistry - 780
US History - 740

pretty satisfied with Math II and Chem but US History was 20 points short of what I thought it would be :-(

Are these scores good enough for HYSM?

im planning to take World and Physics next year and will probably get around 780 Physics and 740 World too...

Then will they only consider the physics, chem, and math scores or will the slightly lower history scores impact their decision?

Colleges may only look at the scores, but are they aware of the percentiles and take those into account? Because my scores are fine, but my percentiles are no good.

Bio: 670- meh, i did much better on the AP exam

Math 1: 600, I am good at forgetting calculators

honestly, whats the point of retaking?

colleges see your entire score report, so unless you did horrifically and you need to show them that you aren't dumb, you shouldn't retake anything about a 650.

USH=740
Math IIC=650
French=610.

Not retaking.

Bio=780
Chem=780
Math IIC=750

USH=740/89%ile
MathIIC=650/40%ile
French=610/45%ile (cries :( )

I'm not retaking though.

This is going to hurt my chances to NYU Stern even if I do ED....at least I scored above 50%ile for math. French was too hard....even though I got 680 on a practice test....:(

USH: 770
Lit: 660
Math ii: 650

Retakes for the latter two.

is this true? anything above a 650 is considered "good"? so is it worthless retaking my 680...

720 US History
480 Literature

I'm not planning on retaking the Lit because there isn't another subject test I'd take and I wouldn't do any better in the Lit.

Would those scores be fine for me if I want to go to UC Irvine? I've got a 3.8 GPA and an 1800 on the april SAT.

math 2 800
chem 800

Math II: 740
Chem: 740
USH: 740

Are these scores decent for Ivies (namely Penn and HYP)? I was happy w/ them at first, but all these CC scores make me wonder...
