Official SAT II Scores Thread: May 2006

Chem- 730 :\
Math IIC- 800 (expected, so it wasn't a big deal.)

not going to retake... lit on saturdayyyy

are you people frickin geniuses and cry about retaking a 790??? GEEZ, STOP WASTING YOU *****ING TIME!!!! Just do more extracurriculars

to some people really high SAT II scores are a must

I know for a specialized BS/MD program that I am applying for you need at least a 700 on bio/chem/(another subject, preferably physics or math 2c)

Those requirements are just to be considered...basically saying that if you want to have a chance for one of the 80 spots you better have high 700s

just saying, that for some people 740 or 750 wont cut it

Chem-640 : (
French 750!!

US History 800 (whoa happy)
Lit 740 (fine with me)
math I 600 (i knew i sucked at math)

i'm a rising senior that will be taking calc next year, would i do better on math II? i mean i plan on majoring in international relations, so math is um math. plus if i take the SAT IIs again i give up my last chance to take the SAT I before Early Action. would it be worth it?

Oistrakh, there are also scholarships to consider... money IS a good reason to reach for high scores, no?

Some people are bizarre in their retaking habits, I admit this. However, others may have very good reasons for re-taking a score in the 700s. No reason to berate both groups IN ALLCAPS!

Wow... I thought i was special before entering this thread...

math 2c: 800
physics: 800
chem: 770

guess there are alot of ppl like me around :P

Wow. I've only seen one person with a Spanish score here, and I assume s/he is a native speaker.

Has any non-native speaker received an 800 on a foreign language? XD

Math 2: 800 [expecting 800]
Bio M: 800 [expecting 800]
Spanish: 730 [expecting 690]

Very happy about the Spanish. XD

APDoolittle did on the Italian exam a while ago.

I got an 800 on the Spanish in May and I'm not a native speaker. It was surprising because I scored a 650 on the one Kaplan practice test I took. I currently have between an A and A- in my AP Spanish class and I found the AP Spanish test to be very difficult (hoping for a 4).

bobk, how did you prep for the sat ii?

I didn't do any special prep beyond taking one test from the Kaplan book the day before the SAT. But, I have an excellent and difficult AP Spanish teacher so I guess all the work for that class paid off.
