Yeah I am looking for some practice tests straight from the blue book. If anyone can post them, that would be great. In the mean time, I have links to a bunch of different tests.

The only things that are getting me are the different phyla (and characteristics about them) and also some organismal biology about plants. Our school doesn’t go over any of that stuff.
How does Barrons compare to the real thing? I got 710, 660, and 690, so I’m not feeling all that confident…
@Willynilly123 I heard that barrons overprepares you for the actual test. However, idk anything about the actual tests and whether or not it is similar to the barrons practice tests. I know that this year for the AP exam for bio, the actual MC was completely different than the ones barrons gave, but the FRQs were pretty similar.
@coolkarni Same here! So basically I read over the topics that we didn’t cover in class and skimmed over the ones we did. The thing that worries me is that they take off points if your answer choice is wrong, so you shouldn’t be randomly guessing ;( Also, thx for the links!

This packet has the same questions as the Blue Book section that has one question for each question type
Can someone outline specific curriculum differences between AP Biology and SAT Bio M? I feel confident about the AP content (even though that damned MC was just critical thinking which I’m awful at). I know we have to learn plant stuff like angiosperm reproduction. What else?
@Nickly I believe the subject test focuses on physiology more than the AP did
CC truly has the best resources. You guys are awesome.
@Nickly we have to know the phylums kingdoms, body systems and that’s basically it. all of the other things you learned in AP Bio. Oh, and hormones too. Memorize them. How much of the angiosperm reproduction should we know?
Everything in Barons you should know including the difference between dicots and monocots as well as the characteristics of every phyla, their names and examples of their members.
So you guys are saying this test is more memorization and most likely harder than AP Bio exam?
@Nickly Thx for the link!
@AnniiT I think for me, based on the practice test, this one will be easier because it has content rather than critical thinking. Plus, no more page-long experiments with complicated diagrams to understand and answer analytical questions on, under a time crunch. I think that since we only have 60 minutes and 80 questions there will still be a time crunch but questions are like 3-4 sentences max
@CollageWhat I’m freaking out atm cause I scored not as well on the first barrons practice test.
Hey, so I was wondering if anyone has a good list of some mnemonics to remember some stuff??? I have some but they aren’t the best
@AnniiT So we meet again. Not only did we both take the AP Statistics and AP Biology exams this year, but we are also taking the SAT 2 AP Bio Subject Test. Good luck!
@ObitoSigma Ikr! Man we should help each other out lol. Which review book do you have?
@AnniiT I’m just going to wing it. lol no. I took practice tests on the Internet, and I am doing surprisingly well. I studied the crud out of AP Bio, so I feel that there is not much need. All I’m doing is studying the hormones (from Princeton AP Bio book), angiosperms, and phylums (from CrashCourse). Other than that, I’m merely taking practice tests. I’m not sure if I should study plants other than the basics of their anatomy, 5 main types of cells, and 3 main types of tissues (ground, dermal, vascular).
@ObitoSigma I couldn’t find many practice tests online. Do you mind sharing some links? And also, I’m a little worried about the admission ticket; are they very strict about the photo? I feel like it has met the requirements but am afraid they wont accept it.
Personally, I think the subject test is harder. At least preparing for it thats what I see. For the AP, the total extent of my studying was taking a quick glance at a friends book ten minutes before the exam, and I am not even in AP Bio, and I took the test and i still felt pretty confident because it wasn’t memorization. It was all critical thinking and just logic, so I could BS my way through that. This though, you kind of either have to know it or you don’t.
Does anyone have practice tests for the M section? The links that were given before only included the E section.
