Official SAT Subject Test - Biology E/M - June 2015

@CGlynn uhhh did you say 750? i know you’re not trying trick me or anything so don’t be offended but… that’s a bit hard to believe lol…

Look at the conversion chart posted earlier.

@CGlynn yup, i see it! thanks! but do you think they changed the curve?

Doubt by very much

I took M, does this make a difference

Glycogen is stored in the liver?

@CGlynn yup!

Were the gene flow and genetic drift Qs in E or in the general test?

@CGlynn so i got that calcium question wrong. it was more like in a sequence… do you remember if that had 2 questions or 3 questions about that particular graph thing?

3

@CGlynn what was the first of the 3 questions?

what happens to the PTH hormone levels if the PT gland is removed

@CGlynn then i only got 2 wrong haha. cause PT hormone obviously decreases right?

@asiankid88 Yep. Do you remember if the gene flow/genetic drift questions that everyone is talking about were on the general or on the E section?

Also, for any M takers. Did you guys say that for the plausible thing about some gene (it was like Q #99), it was only one of them (and I believe it was that the gene evolved after plants and animals and bacteria split or something)

@CGlynn yup! for the second question and for the first uhhh it was… a recessive trait randomly disappeared in an isolated population, how could this have happened… it gave you choices like random mutation, genetic drift, etc. It’s in the general section and it’s genetic drift

@CGlynn in the beginning of the M section, did you get rna for like two of them? idk for one of the human comparison questions i put the one with the most differences for comparing between similarities

@asiankid88 I don’t remember. For the human comparison question I said the one with the 3 differences between humans though I believe.

@CGlynn was it the most differences?

the other was 1 difference right?
