Official SAT Subject Test - Chemistry - June 2015

@YoohooAddict
Depends on the curve, hope you can get 700+

I’m pretty sure I got some FTs like maybe 3 4 or 5 idk. don’t remember.

2 TT CE, Loads of TF or FT, only 1 or no TT without CE

Do you think the curve will be harsh or lenient? Someone plz make a conversion table…

Was it 78% or 94% for yield? I said 78% because 112/144.

94 it was 105/112

78 was what I said. But I ran outta time so I just guessed one that seemed most reasonable

I got 94%
2 mol Fe was just a bit larger in grams than the amount that was actually produced.

It was 94%

Well shoot…yup it’s 94% I just typed it into the calculator…
Ahhh my brain is so rusted now I can’t even do math :frowning:

There’s a question about magnesium but I forgot what it was. There was a question about acids for which I put indicator. Is that right?

Indicator is right. The Mg one was asking something about redox and elections (woah my memory)

Is the one about

there was a t/f t/f ce question like “chlorine is the best oxidizer” and then “cl2 is diatomic” i had FT, anyone else?

yes vo2 is correct

I said VO2

What’s the nuclear chem question and its answer? I guessed alpha particle. Prob wrong

Does CO2 + H2O produce an acidic solution? I know that it forms H2CO3 (which is obviously an acid), but doesn’t H2CO3 decompose into CO2 + H2O? I think that was the most confusing one. I put that the solution would be acidic

It was Electron because it was beta decay.
