Our Scripps box came to northern California on Saturday 3/25. It came by USPS with tracking so there is that. Congrats all! =D>
Could someone please tell me what the “goodies” were in the gift box? I think mine got lost in mail or was taken out of my mailbox. I found a candy wrapper (kitkat) in the bushes near my mailbox. 
They send you a tote bag that has #scripps2021 and “live courageously” on it. there’s a sticker that says, “i’m going to scripps college” a luggage tag ( don’t know what to call those…) and an olive branch from a tree at scripps! i hope your package makes its way there!!
the other things are just info about financial aid, your letter, etc.

@Onlineschoolworkstoo mine hasn’t come yet and I’m in NYC so if you live far away from the school it’s probably on its way
@ORRZ40 Can you check with the post office since it was sent with tracking? Never had to do that but think they could tell you if delivered and when. Hope you get it soon!

Does anyone know the policy on requesting roommates?
You feel out some information about yourself and they match you with a roommate. If your asking whether you can ask for a specific roommate, I don’t know.
My daughter was accepted ED I with a James E Scripps scholarship. Good thing because she wanted to attend Scripps since 7th grade!
Congrats, @SageMom ! It’s great that Scripps made such a generous offer even when they knew they didn’t have to, to convince your D to attend!
Thanks! I was a little worried about her applying ED! It worked out well. I figure they probably want to give scholarship money to those who really want to attend Scripps. She made that clear! So happy for her!
Well, @SageMom , FWIW, my D is the counterexample - she applied to Scripps because her Dad and I urged her to apply to at least one of the 5C’s. She was agreeable with keeping the option open, but she wasn’t weighing the possibility all that seriously. She didn’t interview, and didn’t visit before applying - she told us “I’ll visit if I get in.” I thought she was shooting herself in the foot by not showing enough interest. And yet, she got the JES scholarship too! She was like, “I guess we’re visiting now!!”… and here we are! College admissions work in mysterious ways, but I’m very happy things worked out the way they did.
Wonderful!! I am sure Scripps recognized how talented and amazing your daughter is! Congrats!! Can’t wait to meet everyone! We were invited to a meet and greet for class of 2021 on Sunday, July 30 here in So Cal. There were several all over the country. Where are you guys located?
