Well it’s not like a schedule for them. They don’t know that we can access it. Or maybe they do

Anyone get anything?

Nope…,

Memohismbd,
Are those the number of questions you got correct in your breakdown? I don’t understand how you could get 33 correct in English and still get a 33 subscribe. Also, you can miss 8 and still get a 32 in reading? I’m confused. Someone please explain!

Same^^^^^…

Georgiarose, memphis posted his subscores in each subject E33 M28 R32 S25 and below that the # of Q’s he answered correctly. So you can figure out how many wrong in each section yields what score and kind of guess at the curve for this test. So in English, 3 wrong gives a score of 33, in math -10 is a 28, reading -4 is a 32. For the June test, -12 on math was a 28 so curve may be harsher in September but we also don’t know the range of scores until more people report…

Honeybee,
How could hat be possible? Missing 3 in English, I would imagine that you would get a 33, at the least, not a 32. Theoretically, if you went down one point for each question you miss, you would get a 33 or 34. I don’t see how someone could get a 32. It doesn’t make since. Same goes fpr reading. I would imagine that if you kissed 4 on reading, you would have a 33 at least, not a 32.That said, are the curves just way harsher this year? It doesn’t make any sense.

I think you’re right^. Hopefully the curve in science and reading is in our favor.

How have everyone’s tests already been scored? Mine still says, “Sorry, the transaction could not be completed” when I try to access them.

Georgiarose, you’re either not reading clearly or not doing the math. He missed 3 in English and got a 33 (out of 36), missed 4 in Reading and got a 32. What’s the problem? There’s not even a curve for those sections, it’s a point per question, according to Memphis’ results
However, if you’ve ever taken the ACT before, you know that the scores come with this disclaimer: <<subscores do="" not="" necessarily="" add="" up="" to="" your="" score="" for="" a="" subject="" area="" test.="">>
In June D got a 36 in E and R with no wrong answers, but other students got a 36 with one missed answer…</subscores>

@Blayce, the multiple choice sections have all been scored, just not uploaded. They upload the tests in batches over the week. Some people who took it w writing won’t get their scores until a few days bf the official results are available. Once your page says “tested” instead of "registered’ your scores will be accessible within about 24 hours, if not immediately.

@Georgiarose - You never know how it will break down. For the April ACT my son got this.
English 35
Usage/Mechanics 18
Rhetorical Skills 18

@honeybee63. Everything’s totally true except for "Once your page says “tested” instead of “registered’ your scores will be accessible within about 24 hours.” There are a good amount of people out there whose status changed to “tested” last morning but still can’t see the score. And I’m one of them…

I’m just confused. I’ve never took the act before, so I don’t know. I’m not even in high school, I’m in college. Honestly, I just need a 22 on this test. That said, I don’t know what the curve will mean for me. If I don’t get a 22, I will have to retake it in October. I need to have a ACT score of 22 or higher to stay in the program I am in.
Sad, the company doesn’t let you see your results until after the deadline has passed for the October exam.

You can always pay the late fee and register for the October test. If I do not score high enough, I will just pay the late fee. I am thinking positively and hoping it will not be necessary.

People who took writing will most likely see their scores Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. Saturday is late so most likely the other two days.

how do you know it’ll not be tonight?

I remember from the June test that writing scores didn’t come out until four days before the offical release date. Some people might get them tonight or tomorrow but the majority won’t get them until later.

Also they only upload scores on Wednesday and Friday. kldat1, if you took writing, that’s why your account flipped but you can’t access your scores yet. Sorry I wasn’t clear about that. But keep checking esp after Wednesday and Friday, you never know. headed2great is right – at a minimum you can expect to see your scores plus writing about 4 days early.

@georgiarose, if you are already in college, or taking college classes you should be fine. 22 is not a high score, in fact it’s approx the benchmark that ACT gives for college readiness, which they describe as being prepared for first year college classes. Even if you don’t test well, you likely have achieved a 22 or higher on the September ACT if you are doing fine in college courses. If you will be satisfied with a 22 and not want to re-test, then you might want to hold off registering for the October test. You’re already in the late fee period and you can sign up until October 11th.
