Hi everyone! Congrats on your successes on getting into BS/MD programs.
Why do you all believe that a guaranteed seat in a med school is better than going the traditional route
@neurochic – Rather than holding your breath awaiting responses from those that have already successfully gone through the process, you might be better off Googling Captain Obvious, enjoying a few of the hotels.com ads, and then asking yourself if you really cannot think of a single reason why someone might believe that a guaranteed successful outcome is better than an uncertain one. You’re welcome!!!
hey guys do you think I have a shot with 1570 sat 36 act 800 on chem bio math2 but heres the catch: im not in top 10% of my class, also have research in biometrics field
Depends. Does your school actually mention your rank on transcript? Or mention on their website a profile of students such as what % of students fall into what GPA ranges and such?
Your scores are decent and are on par with most of the applicants in this stream. Have you had any physician shadowing and other medical related extra curriculars? What are the unweighted and weighted gpas? Difficult to opine without more details. You may want to post your questions in the current thread for 2019 with higher visibility.
