yeapp… freaking PE makes me have 7 classes 1st semester! Do you guys know people who take PE outside of school? I mean, I know 2 people who do gymnastics/dance not relating to school and they’re able to get credit for PE… I’m gonna ask if I can do that…

Oh and another question. I kinda wanna have 5 periods (after I get PE done), but what’s holding me back is Physics and AP Japanese. I really want 2 science classes, but I would like 5 classes. Do you guys suggest I drop either class or just stick it up throughout the whole year? THANKS YOOH.

AP Economics
AP US Gov’t
AP Calculus BC
AP Euro History
AP English Lit
AP Spanish 4
Sci Research & Design 2
Speech/Sociology

I’m pretty sure I’m going to change Spanish and R&D to Shakespeare and tennis. I’m not so sure I want to take a fourth year of Spanish when reading is the primary focus, and I don’t want to deal with the unnecessary pressures of R&D next year! Plus, Shakespeare sounds like a totally fun class, and having tennis in my schedule will hopefully whip me into shape.

Reposting (keep in mind my senior year school only offers 1 AP):

Honors English 12
AP Calculus BC
Spanish 4 (serving as teaching assistant)
U.S. Government (online; 1st semester only)
Art Appreciation (grad. requirement)

Since this is a REALLY easy course load comparing to the rest of you (but technically is the most challenging one available at my next HS), I’ll also be self-studying:

AP English Literature
AP Computer Science A
AP German Language
AP Microeconomics
AP Statistics

College Algebra
AP Environmental Science
AP US Gov.
AP Macroeconomics

AP Spanish
I/S Multivariable Calculus (took AP Calc BC Junior Year)

Then the gut classes:

Art I (Yes, I know)
PE, unless I can get a bye for switching into JV tennis, at which point I will swap it for creative writing, philosophy, or comparative government

Should be pretty exciting, but bringing up my rankings seems like a stretch: My class seems to improve at about the same I do. Guess I got no shot in state schools with an ~87 average and being in the third quarter in rank :(

AP English Literature
AP US Government/Politics (1st semester) Honors Econ (2nd Semester)
AP Computer Science A
AP Psychology
AP Statistics

I don’t think I count, since I just graduated high school, but I’ll post mine anyway.

Cross Country
Choir
Honors English IV
AP Government
AP Economics
AP Physics
AP Calculus BC

Considering Government and Economics are both jokes, my workload wasn’t that bad. And I got in where I wanted to get in, so I feel for everyone with 5+ AP classes :(

Research IV (mandatory scientific research class, one semester), I’m still not sure what to take for second semester.
AP Lit
AP Physics C (physics double-blocked leaving only 7 classes)
Multi-variable Calculus (self-study)
Discrete Math (what can I say, I like math)
Engineering Applications (slightly more advanced material than starter course)
Gov/Econ (school doesn’t offer AP, no AP euro either)

Our school is a small magnet school focused on research and STEM fields. Class of 2011 (about 25 people) has the short end of the stick because many of the classes that used to be offered aren’t available (due to size) like Organic Chemistry (darn) and MV Calc (hence self-study), AP computer sci has moved to self-study, and our AP languages are non-existent.
