<p>Oh, are we picking schools based on admission envelopes now? In that case Davis is totally ruled out–all they do is send you a bunch of postcards . . . but no car decal! I’m kinda bummed that none of the UCs do anything supercool. Is it MIT that sends you confetti? </p>

<p>My UCLA and Cal admissions came one after the other, and I was happy to see that both times my mailperson put the envelope on the very top of the pile, as if he/she wanted me to see it first. Also, I found out that old people (as in over 30 and nearing death and all) have no idea that admissions are now posted on the interwebs.</p>

<p>^ ive heard about the confetti for MIT also that the acceptance letter is on a handwritten scroll (that could just be a myth though)</p>
