I got into my second choice of major- Statistics and computer science (CLAS). Any idea how the major is?? Also, they sad I may be able to switch majors. Does that mean I can choose a major from college of engineering or should I just choose from college of Liberal arts and Sciences?

For me the honors stuff is under “see what’s next”. There is my name, UIN, ID, major, college, and term. After that there is a grey box with an orange heading that says Honors and reads “Congrats! You’ve been invited to participate in the following honors program: ENG James Scholar”. After that is the checklist. I have nothing about scholarships on my page.
A little confused about the honors invitations. The LAS honors page says that honors invitations for the James scholar program will be separately emailed. But some folks here seem to have received the James scholar honors invitations along with their admissions offer. Anyone has any idea whether honors invitations can still be expected via email if not received along with the admissions offer? This is for LAS. Engineering may be different. Appreciate some clarity on this.

Son accepted to Mech Eng today. No information regarding honors/scholarships, however, after name, etc., it states: “Due to the high volume of users, most checklist items are not available at this time. To interact with your entire checklist, please check back in a few hours.” It has displayed this since 4 p.m. Anyone else encountering this?
