I noticed the SAT up to their sneaky little tricks in that question about Prince. I put reclusive, but they had an answer choice “pauper”. They knew a lot of people would associate the word pauper with the word prince because of that child’s tale “The Prince & the Pauper”! And they say the SAT isn’t designed to trick you, psh.

I put pluralism, but I wasn’t sure at all so do not trust my word on it. It was a confusing question.

What did “hard” mean in the campaigning passage?
What was the vocab question saying for the one with atavism/fanaticism/pluralism?

I remember picking sanctuary and recluse. Atavism is going back to your roots and doesn’t fit well

the paintings she selected for her show were more varied than those of her previous show and so gave the critics … what’s the error??

for politicians, i put talk about qualifications because it said at the bottom “don’t give reasons why to vote them” or sth like that

i said hard meant difficult

I put sanctuary too in the question where there was also watershed

"
What did people put for the question about Eliza? It was the one on marriage, and it asked how the friend was portrayed. Jubilant?"

Ooooh, this was another one I found tricky. I left it blank. I don’t think it was jubilant though, because jubilant=happy and her friend seemed anything but happy… she was more nervous and didn’t seem to approve of the marriage… hmm.

why fanatacism over pluralism??
does anyone remember getting
f(x) = (.5)^x for all values of x what must be true
positive increasing
positive decreasing
negative etc. (with limits to x)

Oh another one people can’t decide on was on the math section,
if a=2, then b=6

which one is correct?

I put that a wasn’t 2,
but alot people think its nothing is true.
Any thoughts?

Did anyone get the math question of something about flour to sugar ratio in baking a cake? god i hope that was experimental cuz i totally failed that section…btw, the elipsis section was real and the answer was 1

it said that eliza had “excited anxiety” so i chose petrified

the question I think was like:

f(x)= (a number that I do not remember)^1/x

And the function is always positive but is decreasing or something like that

“What did people put for the question about Eliza? It was the one on marriage, and it asked how the friend was portrayed. Jubilant?”"

I think I put agitated in this one!

(1-2)^x

i put always positive and decreasing…i graphed it

a = 2 b = 3
a = ? b = 6

6 - 3 / ( x - 2 )
i said a =/= 2 which was iii only i think

What about the math question with the cube…finding surface area?

i thought .5^x would increase though if x was negative number?? :(

“What about the math question with the cube…finding surface area?”

I put 58

45+8+5=58.

For the black and white socks problem i got 1/3…for the regular hexagon i got 144
