thanks! you too! CONGRATULATIONS!! woo-hoo!!

CONGRATS!!!!!! WHen was the letter postmarked?

so jealous, but that explore usc thing does lessen my anxiety. :)

The Explore USC site should work only for Trustee/Presidential candidates, and since the Trustee interviews are over, and Presidential interviews are right around the corner, chances are that people who get in/are not candidates probably won't be able to access the Explore USC site.

The Explore USC site had "Congratulations on your candidacy in the ________ scholarship" and was for reserving spots in Explore USC, so unless you're up for T/P, you probably wouldn't be able to access it. So don't worry if you can't access the site! :)

thanks misoobishi. guess we'll have to wait....again. Sorry guidez89, but the envelope wasn't postmarked! It just says "priority mail" but the letter was dated march 1st. its a huge packet, you can't miss it.

alright, thanks! congrats!!

I am so psyched right now. I was sporadically screaming for like 15 minutes. I was totally NOT expecting it since the scholarship rejection letter said "late march." OMFG!!!!!

My letter was dated March 1st too and only said "priority mail." Hope you guys hear from SC soon!

You are located in socal as well. I bet those of us a little further form LA will hear pretty soon...

CONGRATS!

i got my acceptance in early february. im not trustee/presidential, but i am a nmf (so potential national merit presidential). i was able to access explore usc at the same time as the other scholarship candidates, but my dates are in april since i dont need to interview.

NICWEEEEEEEEEE i want mine... now!

oh sizzayles. you'll get it....
dont you love knowing friends on CC? what a joyous feeling...

Congrats on getting in! that's awesome :)

I was just wondering to those who got accepted. Does the admission page on the USC Information Gateway page say something new? Like you were accepted or your app reviewed? I'm just anxious, lol

thanks!

SIG says nothing interesting.

Got my acceptance letter yesterday as well.

ahhh

last time i got mail (MDY request) it took 6 days to get to me from LA!

Congratulations to those of you who have been accepted in the past day or so. Just one question... Did you apply before the scholarship deadline?

i just a thick packet today too ... very unexpected, and a nice surprise. i only wish i could hear back from my 8 other schools this soon!

okay i got my acceptance letter today so I guess that means i'm in contention for scholarships right?

i was just wondering. I took my SAT's in january and i'm wondering if I should send my scores in now for scholarship contention. USC has my last SAT Score as a 680 math 680 verbal 720 writing. On my january SAT's i got 740 math 700 verbal and 590 writing.

But i never sent those in because i figured USC wouldn't receive them in time. Can i send them in now for scholarships? or do they only consider what has been sent in already?

also, is that explore USC program like a discounted price to visit? Or do you still have to pay all the traveling fees?

I don't think you are in contention for the presidential or trustee. Depending on your GPA, you might still be up for the dean's, but that would mean you are in the top 18% of applicants. As for your SAT score, I wouldn't bother sending it again. The office of admission is taking at least a week to review files, so by the time the recieve it, it won't have changed anything. You can try though. I suggest calling

congrats!

Shirobot, I applied before the scholarship deadline.

does anybody know if the admissions board meets on the weekends as well? I know that decision letters are sent out on fridays, is that true, too?
