Where do you live, lareine? I didn't get my letter today and I'm in New England...I guess I'll just have to wait for Monday. :[

Good news arrived today! I am also from a nearby town and it got here pretty quickly.

Congrats to all those that are celebrating! :)

I live in New England too and haven't heard anything! I was a 'possible' under EE.

I live in Massachusetts two towns away from Wellesley, so I got my letter today.

ACCEPTED!
I was a likely under EE, though, so I kind of knew, but I'm still sooooo excited!

Recs: I didn't get to read them or anything, but I think one of my teacher recs was glowing and the other was good. My counselor rec was probably so-so because my counselor isn't great and I don't know him very well (public school... yay!)
Interview: I had an on-campus interview that was just so-so.

WAITLISTED from a "possible" EE

Recs: i've never read them but my g.c. likes me alot and she said my rec was really personal (i was flattered cause I had no idea she liked me that much!)

I'm not going to put my name on the waitlist. this wasn't my first choice (but up there!) and i got a lot of $ to GWU so I think I'm going to d.c.!

For those of you who got letters in the real mail today, what did they look like? I live in New England and didn't receive anything in today's mail. Wondering what the accepted envelopes look like, vs. the waitlisted and rejected envelopes. Thanks.

I live 45 min. away from Wellesley and today I was ACCEPTED!!! :) :) :) I had been an EE likely, so I wasn't excessively worried, but getting that nice big thick envelope in the mail felt pretty good, especially since I was waitlisted today by Middlebury, Bowdoin, and Swarthmore and yesterday by Williams. The women's colleges have been very kind to me...coed schools not so much. :)

@newengland8, the accepted envelope is exactly what you'd think it would be...very big and fat and clearly full of a folder with lots of Wellesley paraphernalia (which is green, by the way, because apparently 2013ers are the green class at Wellesley, or something).

Congratulations to everyone who got in today and good luck to those who haven't heard yet!

Congrats to you all! I am sooo nervous now, i was ED Deferred and im not holding my breath for RD.. :(

my waitlist envelope was a small, standard #10 envelope. I sent in my "no thanks" postcard that came enclosed. at least they paid for the stamp!!

great, I live in california which means that the letter will come probably wednesday or thursday if its anything like carnegie mellon...

congrats to all who got in so far and good luck to the rest of us we are waiting :D

You can expect the accepted envelopes to be nice and big, and the rest to be pretty small.

Congrats to everyone who got in! It'll be awesome to see you on campus next year. :) For those who were waitlisted, keep your fingers crossed! To those who were rejected, I wish you the best, but you will still find another school that you will be happy at.

I got my big letter yesterday! I'm excited because I was a 'possible' EE.

the folder contained a lot of stuff. they even waived my deposit! (:
They also have your financial aid stuff in it as well.
I am so happy, if I don't get into any other school then I will go to wellesley, (:

I got a Wellesley course catalog in the mail today, but no letter...very interesting.

TOC, I got a course book a week or two ago. Maybe something was up with your mail.

:O Thanks for letting me know. I hope I will get my decision letter tomorrow! :)

Congrats, shineemilk! :)

Congrats shineemilk, you give me hope as I am a 'possible' too! Hopefully I'll get good news tomorrow...

Although I am a "Possible," I highly doubt I will get in. Congratulations to everyone. Congrats shineemilk!

waitlisted after EE 'possible'
we'll see what happens...
