“No matter what happens, it was meant to be”

For some reason, I get somewhat annoyed whenever someone tells me this. Although I know that they are only trying to be helpful and comforting, I feel as though sometimes things do not happen for a reason. Maybe I am just being cycnical now…
Do you guys think things happen for a reason (“meant to be”)?

Mostly, yeah.
Even though it'll be crushing at the time for those of us who don't get into Penn, I'm sure we'll all have a good time at college, make friends, mold ourselves, etc etc.
I try to be optimistic. The Meredith Grey of Season 2 is no more... It's all about the positive outlook now.

My parents won't say, "don't worry". I get depressed talking to my dad. He is too pessimistic. My mom only says, "If God wants you will get in. Go pray". LOL
So I decided to be like whatever about decisions but CC is too addicting! I will be depressed if even one of you guys don't get in!

i dont watch TV :) well, i watch CSI (the original) if i can catch it at dinner time, or That 70's Show, and sometimes Seinfeld or Friends, but other than that, meh, TV isnt really my thing anymore.
