she makes the tests too hard, that's why everyone is doing awful right now . . like sure you think you 'understand" it, and then the actual test day, it's just so much harder, the way she words the instances and stuff
right now we're doing a lot of things, all tested tomorrow, on z-scores and LSRLs and 68 95 99.7 rule, scatterpots, find normal probabilities, blah and blah... =</p>

<p>that sucks sarorah that your stats teacher is actually challenging. my first quarter stats grade was 104. i already have 100 this quarter. if only calc. that class is ridiculously easy. i dont know if its just my teacher or what. she gives us practice tests the day before the test and the test is just the same thing but in a different order with different numbers. if only all teachers could be like that.</p>
<p>^ wow you're lucky trader...my school has this stupid mentality that they need to expose us to university style marking in high school...so tests are insanely hard..and the kids that do really well are usually the ones that horde the teachers for extra help and ask them to give them extra practice questions....lol...yeah. its sad. very sad. :(</p>
<p>one of the other reasons it might be easy is because so few people are interested in it they only have one block of it and it cant be AP, its just called "statistics". i wish i could have ap. but all the kids who do bad in alg 2 and cant take precalc need something else to take. im only taking stats because it looks better than some art class or music class and there are no honors academic courses offered that block.</p>
<p>anita---university style grading...what is the average grade you would say people earn in your school....like is it in the low 70s? that would suck</p>
<p>well its not as low as one would expect...cuz most of the people that attend my school are geniuses...i mean its really bad...my school advertises in india and china and practically every other place in this world except the US so that they can pick up good students ...:rolleyes: :rolleyes: </p>
