Oh, no. I'm screwed.

I'm an idiot and have already sent all of my ACT scores. You know where you register online and you can pick 4 colleges? I thought this was the only time when you could send in your scores for colleges for free and after you take the test you'll be charged to each college sent.
I already took it 4 times. Sent all 4 times. 25,25,27, 25. Would colleges view my 27 as less significant now? I know they choose the best of them all, but will all of those 25's weigh me down?

I’m only a high-school student myself, but yeah, it seems that if they noticed you made a 25 three times and a 27 only once that they’d consider your score to be 25.

^^^

No, that’s not true. Schools use the highest scores. Schools don’t want to screw you.

That said, I don’t want to sound harsh, but frankly the types of schools that accept an ACT 25 or 27 aren’t going to care how many times you took the test…they’re just going to take the highest score.

Ahh, my apologies then for the ignorance. Looks like you’re in good shape then!

They take the highest score as your official score for admissions purposes.

Some schools even “superscore,” meaning they consider the highest of each individual score, which can lead to a superscore that’s higher than any of your individual composite scores.

Phew, thanks guys.

With ACTs, you only send 1 score at a time. It’s not like SATs where everything is on one report. Also, they’d definitely consider your 27 and most likely your superscore, depending on the school.
