I'm really interested in starting my HS career online next year - my school (state) isn't very rigorous academically, and I like to work faster than I usually have the chance to (since my school grade inflates like no other and everyone gets into the Honors program). But, I'm not sure if I should start Online High School or not. If I do, it'll most likely be Insight School off South Carolina, which is free and grants diplomas.

Any opinions on online vs. traditional?

based on my experiences, dont go online
go traditional
online is like all essays and projects i mean traditional is like that too but at least u have fun in class
online ur just like at a comp for how many hours

Do you have the option of EPGY Online High School, because I hear that has at least somewhat more of a social scene and has clubs etc and also uses things like skype to keep kids more connected. But I'm not sure it could be a bunch of BS to get people to switch out of traditional schools.

I did get an invitation to EPGY OHS, but there's no way I could pay tuition. (SCInsight, the school I'm looking at, is free for SC residents.)
