Ok, I have a pretty troubleing question about JC ---> UC

So, I estimate by the end of senior year I will have about 30 transferable semester UC credits under my belt (AP and IB diploma/tests) And I am thinking about going to a community college for the extra credits, and because I only need 30 more sem. credits I want to be done in a year. BUT transfer apps are due in november, which clearly is not enough time to complete and get back winter classes or grades…so in my case (with 30 sem. credits) is it impossible for me to transfer into a UC in fall 2008, b/c apps will be due before I am 1/2 my first year in Community college???

The only caution to have is to make sure you are still meeting the admissions requirements for the major that you want to study. These requirements, at times, might be difficult to meet in one year. At a minimum you have seven courses for a junior level transfer; http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/educators/counselors/adminfo/transfer/advising/admission_reqs.html The major that you apply for at the campus you apply to might have additional requirements that need to be met. Please contact that campus to check the requirements needed.
