Okay, so I know rank ISN'T everything but...

I've noticed many of the stats posted here have relatively small school populations compared to my graduating class. This year we will have 1000+ people graduating (not to mention the other 1000+ people who are in the junior class, same buildings).

My question is this: if my rank numerically isn't so high, but places well % wise in the grand scheme of things, would this make a difference? Or would they look at your individual grades more than an overall rank?

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure they look at your overall percentage wise rank, because being val of a class of 100 kids is not the same thing as being val in a class of 1000 kids. So yeah, I'm pretty sure that percentage will matter, so even if you're number 14 or 15, you're still within the top 2% of your class and that's really good.
