Guys I have beed admitted in Master of Industrial Engineering at Oklahoma state university, University of Oklahoma ,West Virginia University , and University of missouri.
Deciding between all of them is so difficult for me!
I`m an international stuent and wish to be admitted at one of the top 10 best universities for my phd degree, so the academic situation of the university is more important than anything else for me.
Can anyone tell me about each of these universities and inform me that which one is better than others in the feild of Industrial Engineering???

Thanks.

no answer???
Is there anyone familiar with these universitiessss???
helloooo…

My old ME professor got his BS/MS at OU and PhD at Stanford. I think Mizzou > OU > OSU > WV (really, I don’t know WV so it’s just a guess since OSU is a good engineering school). You need to see which program gives you more research opportunity. I think that’s the key for PhD program, rather the general reputation of the school. By that, what I mean is, Harvard, for example, is way out there in terms of general reputation, but an MSIE from George Tech would probably be more respected to many PhD programs. My 2c.

None of those are top ranked for Engineering by USNews. Not that USNews is the be all and end all of everything. Is there a list put out by the Industrial Eng professional group or something?

I think OkState has a pretty good IE department. Not as familiar with the others.
