Old Man (38) Going Back to School (UNC)

So, here’s the deal. I went to college way back in the 90s. Clinton was President. Fun times were had by all, including by myself. So much so that I slacked off and didn’t get much accomplished.

Flash forward 20 years and I’ve enrolled in a local community college and have 40 credits under my belt with a 3.9 GPA. I plan on transferring to UNC-Chapel Hill (literally 10 minutes away next year as a junior in the European Studies program. I’m doing all this while having a full-time job and a family with kids and a dog.

So, is that enough to figure out if I’m hot or not?

Sounds good to me. As long as you’re not selling shoes on campus.

Good for you! This sounds way cool to me (assuming you can afford it). I don’t think that I would do both the job and the education full time.

I have wondered about taking a few classes myself, although I would be attending somewhere far to the north of where you are.
