Was the old SAT harder than the current SAT?

If so, how???

Was the old SAT harder than the current SAT?

If so, how???

The scores were “recentered” a few years ago. This means that if you took it before a certain year, you add up about 100 points to your score to make it comparable to today’s scores. The test also went from being the Scholastic APTITUDE Test to just SAT with the A being there just to hold the S and the T together.

The old SAT was easier. This is not an opinion, it’s a fact. Mathetmatical topics have been added to the new SAT (most notably, Algebra 2). So yeah… it’s Harder now.

I guess it depends on how hard you consider the analogy section to have been, although I think the inclusion of a subjective essay make the current SAT much harder.

The analogy section is IMPOSSIBLE
the Math now is still easy, but those damn analogies…

I think it was easier, at least that’s what my dad says
