Old School

What happened to the freaken quotes? and whats up with the ending of old school? The narrator of the book had 3 kids and i think the author of the book also had 3 kids, and they both went to boarding school...i think

ok well i haven't finished "old school" yet so every time someone starts talking aout the ending i just skip to the next post. anyway, i agree. the absence of quotes is annoying the hell out of me. usually i never read the descriptions before or after a quote if i'm not interested in the book and just want to get through it quickly. for example if a book said
As I looked towards the cieling, John said, "Still hungover?"
usually i'd just read the "Still hungover?" part and not bother with the other part of the sentence. but with old school it's
As I looked towards the cieling, John said, Still hungover?
what the hell. i have to read EVERYTHING to get who's saying what. this book is torture. i'm just going to finish it on the drive to cali, in which case i'll be suffering not only from the books boredom, but from the motion sickness i'll get while reading it as well.

i guess if you have somebody read it to you it wouldn't be that different eh?

old school is so dull.
