Omg....freak out time

i keep telling myself that other schools want me. i hope they do.

Me too... But I want Yale the most :-( by far... ugh this is so hard I'm already a mess!! Tomorrow... oy vey.

cj
ah, reading the poem made me feel better for a minute, thanks =)

ugh, i know what everyone is talking about, i hate how everyone seems to underestimate exactly how difficult it is to get into yale... rawr.

Hey fringey, your circus training might be the coolest and most unique EC ever. Based on just our conversations here, I think anyone would love to go to school with you.

Awwww thank you so much! I would seriously love to go to school with all of you... any of you, really.

I didn't list it under extracurriculars for some reason... but I did write an essay about it and sort of include it in the additional info session.

Hopefully they want to add to their diversity by having someone unicycling around campus rather than just bicycling. Sigh.

Just a reminder from a mom (who doesn't yet know her daughter's early result so is also sweating it out like all of you.) Nothing you hear tomorrow, good, bad or indifferent, changes who you are, or the future you have ahead of you. The details of the road may be different than you originally hoped, but the destination won't be different, if you remember that tomorrow's decision is not a judgment about who you are or what you are capable of, but just a subjective outcome from a school that has many more great applicants than they have spots in the class.

Ailey, your post is consoling but nothing hides the fact that our decisions are indeed judgments about who we are and what we are capable of (assuming they want to take students with the highest potential in various fields). I'm also pretty sure that if I get into Yale, my future will be drastically different than if I go to a state school or an international school by virtue of the people I will meet.

I'm scared... :(

me too, boeing.

me three =(

me four!......

me five! so soon!
