Omg, Pleeasse help.

I'm probably going to be looked down upon in the Pre-Med board because of this, but how bad will it look if I've gotten a 670 SATII on biology and a 3 on the AP bio test.....

x_x

I've been doing good in all my science classes, but Idk what happened on the AP test, i thought for sure i was gonna get a 4 but .....idk, enough for excuses, do you think it would hurt me a lot if i was applying to colleges like UPitt or Drexel?

If you are planning for a BA/MD, I think this will be considered, but if you mean going to a med school in the traditional way (4 years undergrad, 4 years med school), those scores won't be considered (BDM said he was only asked his high school transcript by 1 med school).

I mean in Pre-Med decisions. I'm not applying to like HYPS or some Ivy/Top Tier school. Will it still hurt?

Well... it depends on which schools you're applying to. Obviously, at the more competitive schools, it'll be worse. At the less competitive schools, it'll be... less worse.

Med schools won't care - they'll never see these scores.

BRM:

OP was talking about getting into college, not medical school.

For UPitt, it should be fine - you may still get into the Honors college, but I wouldn't count on it, since the school's been getting more and more competitive. For Drexel, I can't say, since I'm not familiar with their undergrad admissions.

those scores should be good enough for Drexel

Honors College doesn't depend on how good you do on APs or whatever. At least not for UPitt. It only depends on your GPA/class rank and SAT Scores
