On campus interview

<p>I have an on campus interview next week, and I was just wondering if there was anyone here who has had one this year or in the past. Is it similar to your typical alumni interview? This is my first college interview so I don’t really know what to expect, except for the little I have heard from a few of my friends who have interviewed at other colleges.<br>

  • What is appropriate dress?
  • More importantly, is there anything in particular I should be prepared to answer besides why I so dearly want to go to Penn, and be able to talk about myself and my interests?
  • The lady who directs interviews in my area suggested bringing along anything extra that didn’t go along with the application that you can talk about that might make you stand out. I have two things in mind- do you think it is okay to bring them up or should I only do so if the conversation strays in that direction?</p>
