1st Generation American, both parents are immigrants
Among 1st generation of family to graduate high school (I'm the youngest of four)
Bilingual - English, and Spanish. I speak French at a pretty advanced level so I guess you could include that as well.</p>

Freshmen and Sophomore: All Honors
Junior: Honor Physics and PreCalc, AP US and Lang
Senior: AP: Physics B, Calculus BC, Psychology and French</p>

Writing: 670</p>

<p>AP:
Have Taken: US History and Lang, still awaiting scores
Going to take: Physics B, Calculus BC, Psychology, and French</p>

Hispanic Heritage Club - 3 years, plannning on doing it senior year
Been a Club official since sophomore year and will be for senior year as well
12 Hours Volunteer Service for Obama Campaign
Yearly Thanksgiving Food Drive at a Local Organization</p>

NHD Regional Finalist - 2008</p>

I'm a pretty solid writer
Play two instruments:violin and guitar</p>

and if anybody has any other suggestions for colleges that would be appreciated</p>

<p>Thats me in a nutshell. As for colleges, I'm really looking for any college, in state and out of state, that can give me the full experience. I'm not sure what my combined household income is but it can't be much considering the fact that my brother who is going to VCU in the fall is practically getting a full ride. The tuition/financial aid is a big factor for me as I'm trying to reduce the financial strain on my family as much as possible. If I had to state a preference, I'd go with an urban college but thats not completely stringent. Thanks for the help!</p>

<p>NYU-if you’re looking to not be a financial burden, don’t pick here…its expensive and a bit too high of a reach for you
VaTech-more of a match to reach kinda school. Again, you prob won’t get a lot of money</p>

<p>As far as suggestions, why not look at UPitt or a SUNY? You’d get more money probably and have a MUCH easier time getting in</p>
