On Track for an Ivy?

Hey guys. I'm really very nervous about college admissions. My parents absolutely expect me to get into an Ivy ("YOU WON'T DISAPPOINT US LIKE YOUR BROTHER, WILL YOU?"). I'm so scared and I don't know if all the hard work I'm doing is enough. Can anyone give me some advice on how to best improve my resume over the next two years (imma sophomore now?)

Sophomore at a top 30 ranked high school in the nation (30% admission rate)

White Italian Male (Italian passport, fluent in Italian)

Pre-IB; 97.54 GPA (all honors classes; unweighted)

PSAT scores not in; 750 SAT II Chem (freshman year)

Participant in science fairs (never won one yet)

Member of multiple clubs (including TSA JSA GSA FFA Art Drama)

Hoping to get into NHS

Plays in string orchestra

Volunteers for stage crew, starting hospital soon

Weaknesses I see:
- NO leadership (desperately needed, I NEED NHS next year, any suggestions? D:)
- NO sports (don't even, not even a bit athletic)
- NO competitions won (hope to change that soon)

How can I best improve my resume while still obtaining sleep over the next 3 years to prepare for an Ivy application? Thanks!

Find one or two things that you’re really interested in and pursue them in depth. If it’s science, enter/win more science fairs. If it’s music, audition for regional bands, etc. Stay committed to your clubs and run for office. That’s really all there is to it.

Will I be comparable to everyone else who do 500 extracurriculars, get perfect SATs and are the president of 5 different clubs? :l

Erm, the academic index thing on this site says I have an AI of 1 and thus have no chance of going to college. Should I be worried about this? :l

Don’t worry about that. 2 or 3 really in depth activities look better than 500 fillers. Anyone can found the “Philosophy Club” senior year; few can be first chair in a state band. Good luck. Befriend all your teachers and maybe ask them what’s going on locally …you never know.
