Waitlisted: Pitzer
Rejected: Claremont McKenna

once i found out that i got into UCLA i knew that i was gonna go there over the claremonts anyways. Pitzer probably knew that it was a safety and i had a terrible leader essay that i did last minute for CMC. So now I'm waiting for UCB and then if i get in i'll decide between it and UCLA

Um.. no. Tor is a liar. Look at this thread that was created:

what should i be doing junior year?

I am a sophomore now. And what should I do next year. I already chose my classes and got into 1 honors class which was German 3. I would have gotten in honors chem, but my math grade wasnt high enough. Also, honors english but the class was already filled up. I have a 3.0 or 90 average, not that many ec's, and lots of service by the time a graduate. Also last year I had a 2.5 gpa, which is an 82 at my school. So this year has been a huge improvement for me. If i keep my grades up for the rest of my high school career and get good SAT scores, what colleges do you think I can go to? And btw, I live in NJ. Im interested in anything in the east, and some west. Also, I want to go to a school that is into its sports. And I think i want to major in psychology or accounting, maybe something else. I havnt really decided. So my main questions are....

What should I be doing junior and senior year?
What colleges would you suggest if I keep my grades up?

Is it too early too even think about this stuff yet?

Tor is also Njjets who is applying to these schools. Someone gave a stats checkup so ignore the reach/match stuff:

Rutgers New Brunswick - Reach
University of Connecticut = Reach
Florida State University = Slight Reach
University of Central Florida = Match
Boston University = Bigger Reach
Santa Clara University = Reach
Seton Hall University = Match
West Virginia University = Match
North Carolina State University = Bigger Reach
Villanova University = Bigger Reach
Arizona State University = Match
University of Pittsburgh = Bigger Reach

Stanford University (with a uselessly small amount of aid money)
Villanova University (with absolutely no aid/scholarship money)
UMD-College Park (Honors and Gemstone...at least $5000/yr scholarship, probably full ride)
USC ($8000/year scholarship)
Pitt (full tuition Honors College scholarship)

Waiting on Santa Clara University (hoping for a significant amount of merit money).

Congrats, squiggle.

I thought Tor's stats were real (?) over 700 hrs of service in hospital?? i was shocked at first.
