One kid in college and one in grad school: how is need calculated?

Thinking ahead here. We have two kids, one in 11th grade and one in 7th grade. The 11th grader is undecided about her college major, but has mentioned law school or medical school. I think it's reasonable to expect her to end up doing some sort of grad school. So our question is: when our younger daughter goes to college, do colleges take into consideration that we may be supporting the older kid in grad school when they calculate our EFC for the younger kid's college?

For what it's worth, we're older parents. By the time the younger kid starts college, we will be 56 and 60.

Most colleges do NOT consider your support of an older college grad sibling attending grad school or med/law school.

The graduate student will be independent for financial aid purposes.
If you are planning to assist with her education after her BA, you may also want to keep that in mind when your family is looking at schools for undergrad and keep costs down.
