one more day....

good luck to everyone!

I cannot believe it is down to less than 26 hours... I have been waiting for this day for so long....

Good luck! I hope we all make it.

I know what you mean...
I actually never thought I wanted to go to Cal that badly, because me being a foolish, conceited little brat, used to be pretty sure I'd get in. Now that I'm leaning more on the side that I WON'T get in, I've come to this point where I'd do ANYTHING to make it! (well, anything is an exaggeration of course, but you know) heh... funny how life is :/

Good luck everyone.
Remember: What will be will be.
I'm sure you're all fabulous and will succeed at any university you attend.

thisissostupid - i have the same problem. For some odd reason, I thought going to college (getting into Berkeley) would be quite easy. Ahh I was so ignorant

Yeah, I remember in elementary school, EVERYONE said they were going to Cal for college.
Now? I think about five of us even COULD get accepted.

thisissostupid - ditto.
i never really thought of the possibility of not getting in.. everyone's been so overconfident in me. and now it's like. omg. i just might not get in.

Totally get you on the overconfidence thing. People are just expecting it of me. But hey, they expected it of me for UCLA too, and look what happened there! That was a reallly bad day, because everyone assumed I got in, they didn't even ask, so I had to keep on correcting them :/

i am scared for my life

Frontline? Oh why not!

I want it over with. Like that time I had to get a cavity filled in. Shot, drill, fill, overrrrr. =)

Anyone else hate that feeling... You know, the one where you're almost sure you're rejected?

yea im pretty sure

Haha yea. I used to have my heart set on Cal, but after getting into Davis and having 14 days to think about how happy I am about that....I'm not going to be so dissapointed about Cal. Thinking about how a lot of the students there are cutthroat and just other little things to reassure me that Cal isn't the place for me helps. Good luck to whoever still has their heart set on the school. And if you don't get in I'm sure that you'll be just as happy somewhere else (especially at another UC)!

I bet you'll all get in.

yeah i was so sure of cal because everyone i knew kept telling me that i could go to any college i wanted to, i had amazing stats, etc.. then i found cc. i feel like a retard compared to some of the people here. couple that with rejections from mit, caltech, and stanford, and now im not so sure.

My son has wanted Cal for so long... he's got some really great, great choices, but Cal has been number one for so long....

Best of luck to each and every one of you! May you all get Cal!

As the mom of a current freshman S at Cal, good luck to all of you tomorrow! If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. :)

ever since i was a kid, when all the other parents and kids had harvard or MIT on a golden pedastal, it was always berkeley for me... can't believe it all comes down to just a couple more hours.

oh well, ucla is a great alternative...

alin88- about ucla.. that's what i was thinking. lol.
