We have used the free program at myadvent . net (remove the spaces) for three or four years. It’s easy and our parents love it. We use a mix of pictures from deep in the past and the last few years.
They send you a link and you just include that in an email to your parents. The program restricts access to the daily picture until that morning. My 93 year old mil loves this! One day might be her family at Lake Tahoe in 1956, the next is her three kids at a restaurant this summer.
