Hey everyone, so I'm a junior in a pretty competitive IB public school and I wanted to ask a question about online AP classes. A lot of my peers have been taking online AP classes to boost their GPAs and class ranks while I've taken none... so my class rank has fallen a bit. I talked to my guidance counselor and she advised me not to take any as the IB workload is already tough enough as it is. It's already too late for me to enroll in any online AP classes now, but I was wondering if it would reflect negatively on me if my class rank is lower than a lot of my peers because I haven't taken any online AP classes to GPA boost. My class rank is 34 out of about 13000 (my school ranks out of the county) and my unweighted GPA is 4.00 (out of 4.00).

Also, since I haven't taken online AP classes like my peers, would that make it seem as if I didn't challenge myself? Thanks!
