online app problem!!

<p>Hey everyone,
Is it just me or everyone else...the text fields in the Why Columbia and engineering statement seem to only accomodate a certain number of chracters, but when I see the pdf preview, I see that they are only filling up about 3/4 of the space in each line! Is there something wrong with this...or is it supposed to be like this...</p>

<p>That's how it looked for me too.</p>

<p>It's just because if you happened to fill it with all doubleyous, then the 100 characters or whatever would stretch all the way across the line. They have to adjust for the greatest possible length.</p>
