I have a fear that my application will be lost online. -_- Haha.
Which did you do? apply online, or send by mail?

I haven't applied yet (obviously), but online seems much easier, and colleges will let you know if you're missing any part of it.

I did mine online. I think it's better because you won't have to worry about messy handwriting and needing white-out for mistakes. Oh no, there's no worry that your application will be lost online. There's probably a bigger chance that it'll be lost by mail, and that really would not be good. ;)

Most schools prefer the online application, if it's possible for the applicant. It's easier, cuts down on paperwork, and minimizes the chance of careless errors. It also ensures that factors like illegible handwriting or uncertain mail delivery dates are negated. When I was applying to schools, most of the admissions FAQs I read stated explicitly that they strongly preferred applicants to apply online.

Also, some schools like Carleton and Grinnell waive the application fee if you apply online.
