Hi! I am from India. My counselor and teachers would be submitting my recommendation letters online. My counselor would do so via the school contact email, and my teachers will use their personal ids. In this case, is a signed and stamped letter required or not?
bump!!!
bumppppp again!!!
Can anyone please guide me?
If they are submitting it online via the common app, then why would the teacher need to send a stamped letter in the mail? The beauty of being able to submit online is so nothing needs to go through the regular mail at all.
@TiggyB62 No, I mean would a typed pdf/word file be sufficient or should I ask them to print the recommendations in the school letter head, get them signed, stamped, scanned and then uploaded?
All teacher recommendations should always be on the school letterhead.
@Ambitious27 As long as the recommendation is written in the school letterhead, it shouldn’t be a problem. I agree with the above reply. Don’t have them print it, sign it, etc. That’s completely unnecessary.
