still at 0 for recs, transcript, and school report...

same for me...0 for recs, and nothing next to transcript and school report

So i'm guessing no one has received any e/mail from NU saying that these letters need to be resent?

My transcript and school report have shown up, but 0 recs still.

I'm guessing that if they're still missing, NU will send something in mid-February. But I think they just haven't been filed yet.

yeah i was in the same situation as everyone, but now it says, "you application was completed on January 27, 2007". I still have a 0 for teacher recs though and I know those were sent...hmm.

About the date though, why would it be "completed" on January 27? I'm positive everything was sent before the Jan. 1 deadline, so does that mean it was all processed that day? Eh, I guess knowing they're saying it's done now is good enough, right? For all of you still waiting, it'll show up. My transcript, school report, etc. was sent November 1 ish and just was recorded, and I know it wasn't sent late because it was sent with a bunch of other schools who verified receipt of the materials a long time ago.

Yeah, Northwestern's one of the last schools I applied to that hasn't verified everything.

MINE SAYS 0 AS WELL
***...pretty sure my teachers are reliable ???

After being "0" for weeks, my daughter's recs were just updated to "2." I'm guessing Northwestern waits for the bulk of the mail to come in, and then starts updating everyone one by one. Keep checking over the next couple of days, and I bet you'll see the number change.

raza99--They require 2, not 1.

0 for recs too!

FINALLY updated...they got everything! And yeah, I sent my stuff in October/November, so they do take a while. Don't fret everyone and good luck!

I sent my stuff in November, and it still says that they didn't recieve it :(

Mine shows "1", though I sent in 2. However, I think I saw somewhere that it only requires 1, though 2 is recommended.

Sent mine on 1/1 or whatever the deadline was, and on 2/2, they've recieved everything (incl 2 recs), except for test scores (which is weird because I did send it straight after I recieved my Dec scores... but I'm planning to send my Jan scores too so yeah..)

all my things say "Y" but there's still a "0" next to recommendations..
BUT...at the top of the page it says " Your application was completed on January 31, 2007"...

confusing..

Same here dlimhs, it says my applicationw was completed on January 29... Everyone has a Y except my recs...
I'm kind of sick of worrying whether NU has all my creditionals, I'm sure they'll contact us if they really don't have the stuff...

don't worry about the "0" everyone. i emailed the admission office awhile back, and this is their response:

"Hi Mengting,

The zero in the recommendations section means that your application
completed before your recommendations were processed. Due to the
enormous volume of recommendations we receive, we do not update the
recommendation field once your application is complete.

Rest assured that all of your recommendations are matched with your
application prior to review.

EDIT: if you would like to know. my application was completed Dec 27th, and this email is from Dec 30th.

Thanks, that's good to know. I'm glad I don't have to resend anything!

Yeah ditto sakuragirl.

Dear MYNAME!!,

Due to the sheer volume of recommendations received, we are no longer
updating the web page. We do however, have both of your
recommendation letters and they will be received at the same time as
your application.

Thanks for your interest in NU.

hmm that's funny.
