only 2 yrs of foreign language...worse prospects?

ok well i ranted this out in the high school life forum already...
but my next year senior schedule has a conflict which prevents me from continuing with the third level of a foreign language....i can't do anything about it, and foreign lang classes at a college are too expensive for me
i already thought three years was pushing it...but now i'm looking at only 2 years =/
thoughts?

My daughter was accepted with only two years of mediocre instruction in Spanish. The backstory is that the entire language program at her high school is very, very weak. She opted to take AP classes instead and explained all of it on her application. So, if there is a reasonable explanation and other compensating factors, the lack of language education doesn’t appear to be held against an applicant.
