Only one semester of calculus?

Currently I am in a course called Calculus 1 with Pre-cal. This course covers precalculus and calculus all the way through anti-derivatives and summation. Even though it goes this far throughout calculus, we are still required to take general calculus 1 in the spring. I really don't like math...at all. The scary part is that I'm a chemistry major.

I started looking through different options and came to the conclusion that a BA in Chemistry would be better than a BS. With this major, I will only be required to take General Cal 1. What still scares me is the fact that medical schools look highly upon calculus courses--some even requiring it. If I take Cal 1 in the spring and stats in the fall, will that still be sufficient?

Thanks!
