oops, put wrong native langauge

I accidentally put my native language down as chinese because I got it confused with first language. Should this matter in my admission? I don't want to take a fluency test or anything or be denied because I put down the wrong thing. I put i was born here, and went to school here my whole life so I hope they understand. -.-

Don’t native and first language mean the same thing?

Because I think I put my native language down as chinese even though my english is much, much better.

yes it can mean first language but i think it means what language comes to your mind naturally. like thought process and stuff.

well you grew up speaking chinese in your home i presume, or your parents spoke it at home, right? so there’s nothing wrong with putting it as your native language.
