Hi everyone!
I’m applying to UCLA from NJ. I know it’s a long shot, but I still want to apply. I’m about to submit my application, but my main concern is if I put down my courses correctly.
My school’s out of state so I remember reading all out of state school-designated honor courses are considered NH or non-honors on the UC website. However, I called the admissions office at UCLA about some other questions and asked if all my honor courses were non-honors due to being out of state. She told me to check online if they were uc-approved honors courses.
Basically, I’m just trying to confirm if all my out of state honor courses should be marked as non-honors and she just gave faulty information, or if there’s a chance that my honor courses could be considered honor courses.
“In calculating a nonresident’s GPA, UC will grant honors weight for AP or IB courses only, but not for school-designated honors courses.”

Thank you!
